This Helmet colt is the first that we have bred from the mare and what a lovely, strong colt he is. Chestnut and with a very unique facial marking he has really improved with age and as a mature yearling, definitely now looks like he will make a solid racehorse. He strides out really nicely.
We purchased the mare alongside Global Equine Group, due to her solid conformation and her consistency on the racecourse. She raced for Her Majesty the Queen and was trained by Richard Hannon and after winning really well on her 2nd start, perhaps never fulfilled her full potential (RPR 78).
The Helmet cross should help inject some speed into the mare, and we believe the colt will be able to race over 6f as a 2yo before excelling over 8 to 10f as a 3yo.
The colt will be available for sale at the Tattersalls Yearling Sales in October, Book 3, LOT 1601 and will be consigned by The Castlebridge Consignment.
